Electrical Engineer - Place Based Thinking (@one Alliance)

The Vacancy

Binnies, an RSK Group company, is looking for an Electrical Engineer (Place Based Thinking) to join us as part of our @one Alliance.

What will you be doing as our new Electrical Engineer?

As an Electrical Engineer within our diverse and inclusive Engineering team, you’ll provide electrical engineering technical input to projects in the Anglian Water region.

Key responsibilities:

1. Design and specify LV electrical installations and distribution systems, including specifications, schedules, data sheets, and drawings.
2. Design and specify LV assemblies, including specifications, schedules, data sheets, and drawings (e.g., MCC, LV Switchboards, and Control Panels).
3. Review LV electrical designs produced by framework contractors (e.g., electrical schematics, cable calculations, and termination diagrams).
4. Liaise with technical teams, construction, operations, suppliers, and utility companies on technical issues.
5. Specify and select instrumentation based on process design.

A little bit about your skills, experience, and behaviours…

Demonstrable experience as an Electrical Design Engineer with a strong electrical engineering background and a collaborative approach to solving complex problems. A full UK driving license is required as site visits will be part of the role.
