Job summary

Euro-Projects Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the development of technical machinery. The role combines electrical design with mechanical CAD work and hands-on testing and assembly.

The position offers a mix of design-focused and hands-on activity, including prototype builds, testing, and component selection to balance cost and performance. Nottingham-area commute encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering electrical design for electromechanical equipment.
• Familiarity with PCB design is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience supporting designs from concept through to testing and production.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and assemblies using CAD (Solidworks).
• Design and support electrical/electronic subsystems (PCB layout coordination, wiring harnesses, sensors).
• Build and test prototypes.
• Select components based on cost, manufacturability and performance.
• Create and maintain BOMs, drawings, schematics and documentation.

Electrical Engineer

Opportunity for a proven Electrically biased Engineer to support with the product development of interesting, technical machinery.

Electromechanical position in nature, but electrical skills are the most important, that will see you support with both design and build / testing of equipment.

Good mix of CAD desk work and hands on testing / assembly.

Flexible day shift working hours, scope for progression, and excellent working culture.

Salary & Package: c£48,000 to £55,000 as a guide + 25 days holiday + banks. Wider development opportunities.

This Electrical Engineer job will suit

• A proven Engineer with electrical projects experience.
• Familiarity with mechanical CAD design (Solidworks) would be useful, but mechanical aspects can be taught for the right individual.
• Wider experience supporting projects from concept through to design.
• Flexible in nature, sometimes the role will be design focused, other stages of the project will require more hands-on support with regards to testing, assembly etc.
• PCB Design would be advantageous, but not essential.
