This company is highly regarded for developing cutting-edge, automated data acquisition, test, measurement, and control systems for a diverse range of industries including aerospace, energy, and healthcare. Joining the system integration team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design and build of bespoke control systems and instrument racks. The role provides an opportunity to deliver turnkey solutions in a fast-paced environment, working closely with software, systems, and project teams to ensure technical excellence, robust compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Accurately capture and develop comprehensive electrical designs using EPlan in a timely manner. Select the correct control and measurement hardware based on stringent customer specifications. Take a hands-on approach to building, testing, and commissioning electrical systems in the workshop and on-site. Provide guidance on the installation and working functionality of software and hardware, including configuration settings. Generate robust technical documentation, including test plans, commissioning documents, and technical packs. Ensure all designs meet relevant standards, including IEC, ATEX, and machinery safety requirements. Troubleshoot problems and incompatibilities across both software and hardware, applying a practical understanding of EMC principles. Work alongside the business development team to develop proofs of concept and technical quotations.
