HVAC Recruitment Limited is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a prestigious, long-term contract at a large government facility in Fareham. The role is a secure, Monday–Friday position with stable hours and on-site parking.

You will maintain electrical building services across a large facility, performing PPM and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and electrical testing to regulatory standards. Join a small team of three engineers on a three-year contract with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrical Engineer with relevant electrical qualifications.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations desirable.
• Experience in commercial building maintenance or facilities management.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Fault finding, diagnosing and repairing electrical systems.
• Maintaining lighting, emergency lighting, distribution boards and electrical infrastructure.
• Completing electrical testing, inspections and remedial works within your competency.
• Supporting the maintenance of mechanical and general building services where required.
• Responding to breakdowns and ensuring minimal disruption to building operations.
• Working alongside two other engineers to maintain high engineering standards.
• Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
• Completing maintenance reports and updating site documentation.
• Liaising professionally with site management and building occupants.

The Role
