About the role:

• You will be based in any one of our key New Zealand offices.
• We are looking for a team player to strengthen our Electrical Discipline across New Zealand and deliver our existing backlog.
• You will be working on our industrial, power, hydro, and infrastructure projects, delivering challenging, multimillion-dollar and multi-disciplinary projects across New Zealand, North America, Australia, and the Pacific.
• You will contribute to the delivery of Electrical work packages, working as part of the project Electrical team under the guidance of a Principal Engineer.
• You will collaborate with Mechanical and Process engineers on multidisciplinary projects.
• You will have client-facing opportunities and site work which offers variety in daily tasks.
• This is your opportunity to grow or reinforce your abilities as an Electrical Engineer.

What you need to bring

• Our preferred candidate for this role will have technical experience in aspects of Electrical Engineering for infrastructure and industrial projects.
• An understanding and experience with electrical systems and infrastructure design in NZ or Australia.
• You will have experience in working to the requirements of relevant AS/NZS standards relating to Electrical Engineering areas.
• You will enjoy working as a team and communicate well with others.
• You will have proven experience in working in diverse teams and managing your own delivery.
• You will understand the tools, including Electrical CAD and modelling software.
• You will be comfortable dealing with external stakeholders including clients and utility companies.
• Key requirements are a BE Electrical or equivalent, plus a minimum of 6 years professional experience in the consulting or engineering industry.
• CPEng or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
