Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. in Andover, Hampshire, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the depot-based team.

You will perform routine electrical maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment, assist with refurbishments of pumps, boilers and heat exchangers, and carry out electrical compliance testing before and after hire. The role includes occasional travel to client sites across Hampshire, Surrey and Wiltshire, supervising an apprentice, and a 1-in-6-week on-call rota, with a company

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3, AM2 and 18th Edition qualifications.
• Experience in electrical maintenance and repairs.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent) desirable.
• Experience on HVAC & hire equipment desirable.
• Based within a commutable distance of Andover, Hampshire.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Work from the depot performing routine electrical maintenance, repairs and testing on HVAC equipment.
• Assist HVAC Engineers with refurbishments of pumps, boilers, heat exchangers and other HVAC equipment.
• Carry out electrical compliance and testing on equipment pre- and post-hire.
• Travel to client sites across Hampshire, Surrey and Wiltshire to assist with installs and de-installs.
• Supervise an apprentice electrical engineer.

Job Overview

• Working out of the company's depot, completing routine electrical maintenance, repairs and testing on electrical components within HVAC equipment
• Assisting HVAC Engineer's to complete refurbishments of pumps, boilers, heat exchangers and other HVAC equipment
• Completing electrical compliance and testing on equipment both pre and post hire
• Occasionally travelling to client sites across Hampshire, Surrey and Wiltshire to assist with site install and de-installs where electrical assistance is required
• Managing and overseeing an apprentice electrical engineer

Job Requirements

• Fully Qualified Electrician, holding NVQ Level 3, AM2 and 18th Edition qualifications
• Experienced in completing electrical maintenance and repairs
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent), is highly desirable
• Experience working on HVAC & hire equipment is highly desirable
• Based within a commutable distance of Andover, Hampshire

Salary & Benefits

• Basic salary up to £50,000, depending on experience

• Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, 1 hour lunch break
