Job summary

National Grid is seeking an Electricity Distribution Network First Responder to join our East Midlands operations, based at the Alfreton depot with coverage across Chesterfield and Mansfield.

You will be the face of our on-site team, restoring electricity supplies, addressing safety concerns, and delivering an exceptional customer experience while working with other Field Operations teams for support when needed.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and communication skills.
• Evidence of your Level 2 Electrical qualification will be required on appointment.

Responsibilities

• Restore electricity supplies and resolve customer issues on site.
• Address safety concerns on the network and complete asset inspections.
• Fit meter isolator switches as required on customer properties.
• Work as the on-site face of National Grid, delivering a high-quality customer experience.
