Job summary

United Living Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead the electrical design of water and wastewater assets across the full project lifecycle, from concept to commissioning. You will work within multi-disciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.

You will design LV power distribution, protection, earthing, and interface with process controls, ensuring compliance with BS7671, IEC, and client standards. Strong technical expertise and collaboration are required.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
• Significant water/wastewater sector experience.
• Knowledge of BS 7671, BS EN, IEC, WIMES.
• Experience delivering designs from concept to commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for water/wastewater assets end-to-end.
• Produce and review designs, calculations, specs, schedules and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with standards and health & safety.
• Mentor graduate and intermediate engineers.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients.
