Job summary

Ross-shire Engineering Limited is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our Chemical Dosing and Wastewater Solutions team on a permanent basis. You will take a leading role across scoping, detail design and implementation within a multidisciplinary design group for water sector projects, with a focus on safety and quality.

You will hold a degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), understand UK/EU design standards, and have a track record in both design office and field

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) required.
Knowledge of UK/EU design standards essential.
Proven ability to work in a design office and construction environment.
Experience with safety studies (Hazop) and EICA engineering inputs is desirable.

Responsibilities

Develop electrical and instrumentation/control concepts and detailed designs.
Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams across projects.
Lead EICA inputs for MCC, PLC and instrumentation with suppliers.
Collaborate with construction and commissioning teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team.
