Ross-Shire Engineering Limited is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our in-house multidisciplinary design team in a permanent role. You will drive mechanical design from inception to implementation, ensuring compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will work across project stages, including optioneering/FEED and construction support, and must be able to manage multiple projects while collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree/HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Mechanical design experience in municipal water/wastewater is desirable.
• Experience in a multidiscipline design team.
• Experience through all design stages from optioneering/FEED to construction support/As-Built is desirable.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical design aspects from inception to implementation.
• Ensure compliance with client specifications and current regulatory/industry standards.
• Participate in project reviews and safety studies (HAZOP).
• Consider health, safety, quality and environmental matters.
• Liaise with key stakeholders and equipment suppliers to develop design solutions.
