Job summary

Ross-shire Engineering Limited is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our dedicated Water sector team on a permanent basis. You will lead electrical and instrumentation/control design, collaborate with multi-disciplinary groups, and support safety studies, Hazop, and project delivery from design through to commissioning.

You will have a degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering and a strong grounding in British/European standards, with a track record in design offices and

Qualifications

• Knowledge of British and European design standards.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience as a Trainee or Assistant Electrical Engineer or graduate training in water/related process industry (design office and construction).
• Ability to mentor and develop EICA engineering talent.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical & instrumentation/control concepts and detailed designs.
• Liaise across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Participate in Hazop and safety studies.
• Lead EICA input for MCC, PLC and instrumentation designs.
• Collaborate with construction and commissioning teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Mentor the next generation of EICA engineers.
