Job summary

Ross-shire Engineering Limited is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for our Treatment Solutions business, to lead early‑stage design through to implementation within the water sector.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, developing electrical/instrumentation concepts, reviewing supplier solutions, and collaborating with construction and commissioning to ensure high-quality, compliant outcomes. Hybrid working is available, with a competitive package and benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of British and European design standards.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical and instrumentation/control concept and detailed designs.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Participate in safety studies (Hazop).
• Provide EICA input and review of MCC, PLC and instrumentation designs from suppliers.
• Collaborate with construction and commissioning teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
