Vantage Consulting in Maidstone is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to deliver electrical designs for projects, with site involvement and client-facing presentations. The role involves working three days per week in the office and liaising with project managers and commercial teams to ensure compatibility with specifications.

The ideal candidate has 3 years in electrical/EICA design, relevant qualifications (HNC/HND or degree desirable), and hands-on experience with SLDs, cable schedules,

Formación

• 3 years' experience in electrical/EICA design.
• HNC/HND or degree desirable.
• Experience in Electrical/EICA systems design (SLD, block diagrams, cable schedules, calculations).
• Cable calculation software (Trimble/Amtech) experience.
• MEICA schedule generation (Load, Equipment, Instrument, Valve).
• Termination/connection drawings experience.
• Site 2D/3D layout design.
• Design project coordination.
• Desirable water industry-based design experience.

Responsabilidades

• Producing electrical designs using project specifications, standard requirements, outline scopes of work, and/or site investigations.
• Innovate, challenge, and consider continuous improvement across projects and designs.
• Assisting less technical team members with the specification of technical plant and machinery.
• Liaison with project managers and commercial teams.
• Attending site, both during and after projects.
• Producing and carrying out technical presentations during client visits.
