Job summary

Vantage Consulting Limited is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in Maidstone, offering a 3-day office week. The role focuses on electrical/EICA design, creating SLDs, cable runs, and coordination with project managers.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years' experience in electrical/EICA design, holds HNC/HND or a related degree, and is proficient with Trimble/Amtech, ACAD-E, 2D/3D CAD, and Microsoft Office. Water-industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in electrical/EICA design.
• HNC/HND or degree desirable.
• Experience in electrical/EICA systems design (SLD, cable schedules, calculations).

Responsibilities

• Producing electrical designs from specifications and site investigations.
• Innovate and improve across projects and designs.
• Assisting team with specification of electrical plant and machinery.
• Liaison with project managers and commercial teams.
• Attending site during and after projects.
• Producing and presenting technical material during client visits and meetings.
