Job summary

Morgan Hunt is seeking an Electrical / Senior Design Engineer to join a forward-thinking Edinburgh building services consultancy. You will deliver electrical building services designs from concept to completion in a hybrid working environment.

The role covers power, lighting, small power, emergency lighting and associated systems, with opportunities to learn from a multidisciplinary team and progress toward Chartership and professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Degree/HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
• Experience in electrical building services design.
• Knowledge of UK standards and regulations.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical building services designs from concept through to completion.
• Design power, lighting, small power, emergency lighting and associated systems.
• Produce calculations, specifications, drawings and technical reports.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders.
• Attend design and client meetings and support project delivery.
• Contribute to innovative, sustainable and low‑carbon design solutions.
