Job summary

Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our UK team on large-scale electrical construction projects.

You will produce risk assessments, develop installation processes, select construction methods, perform CDM assessments, and specify site requirements. Candidates should have an Electrical Engineering degree, professional accreditation, and be able to obtain BPSS security clearance.

Qualifications

• Electrical Eng degree or equivalent; suitable experience.
• Professional accreditation is advantageous.
• QS degree or equivalent knowledge (BSc/MSc).
• IOSH/NEBOSH safety qualifications preferred.
• Ability to pass BPSS security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Producing risk assessments and method statements for works.
• Developing processes with clear installation instructions and checks.
• Selecting appropriate construction methods and strategies.
• Carrying out constructability studies including CDM assessments.
• Specifying site requirements including temporary works.
