Job summary

Aztrum is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their Cambridge team. The role covers design and specification of electrical building services from concept to completion, coordinating with clients and the design team.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in electrical building services design, with knowledge of power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, and small power, and an understanding of HVAC integration. Autonomy and variety are key aspects of this opportunity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in electrical building services design.
• Strong technical knowledge of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and small power systems.
• Good working knowledge of HVAC systems and how electrical design integrates with mechanical services.
• Confident working independently as well as part of a team.
• Able to commute into the Cambridge office.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the design and specification of electrical building services systems from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with clients, the wider design team and HVAC/mechanical engineers to deliver fully coordinated building services solutions.
• Develop your technical expertise across a varied workload.
