Job summary

Aztrum, a global Building Services & Sustainability consultancy, invites an Associate/Associate Director - Electrical Engineering in Birmingham. 1 day in the office, 4 days WFH, with a salary of £75,000-£95,000 dependent on experience.

You will lead electrical design across MEP projects, mentor engineers, manage client relationships, and contribute to growth, with a clear pathway toward Director level within the international network.

Qualifications

• Chartered or working towards chartership in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong experience in electrical building services design.
• Proven track record managing projects and client relationships.
• Experience mentoring or leading junior team members.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design and delivery of electrical engineering solutions across a range of MEP projects.
• Managing and mentoring junior engineers within the electrical team.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key technical point of contact.
• Overseeing project delivery from concept through to completion, ensuring quality, budget and programme are met.
• Contributing to business development and supporting the growth of the electrical engineering team.
• Ensuring designs comply with relevant standards, regulations and sustainability principles.
• Collaborating closely with mechanical, public health and wider multidisciplinary teams.
