Your main responsibilities will be:

• Designing and developing vehicle electrical systems including wiring harnesses, connectors, and terminations in line with Defence Standard 61-5.
• Supporting system integration and troubleshooting across electrical subsystems for armoured and military-grade vehicles.
• Producing and reviewing schematics, block diagrams, and interface documentation to ensure reliability and safety.
• Collaborating with mechanical and systems teams to ensure seamless design compatibility and compliance.
• Assisting in component selection, cable routing, and electrical packaging for vehicle platforms.
• Contributing to design reviews, compliance checks, and test validation activities as part of a high-assurance delivery model.

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in the defence, automotive, or aerospace industries.
• Strong knowledge of Defence Standard 61-5 for electrical system design and documentation.
• Proficiency with electrical CAD tools (e.g. Zuken, AutoCAD Electrical, E3.series, or equivalent).
• Experience with wiring harness design, vehicle integration, and power distribution systems.
• Familiarity with military-grade components, environmental sealing, and robust electrical design.
• Eligible for or already holding BPSS clearance.
