Our client is searching for a driven and experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a newly established team in their brand–new Birmingham office. Key Responsibilities:

Take ownership of the electrical design process on a range of projects
Deliver high–quality, low–energy design solutions using Revit, AutoCAD, Amtech, and other tools
Collaborate closely with mechanical and sustainability colleagues across regional offices
Represent the Birmingham office in meetings with clients, architects, and contractors
Ensure compliance with all relevant design standards and building regulations
Help shape the culture and technical direction of the new office
Support and mentor junior engineers as the team grows

What They're Looking For:

Degree–qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
Chartered or working towards chartership with a recognised institution (e.g., CIBSE, IET)
Strong consultancy experience in electrical design for buildings
Proficiency with industry software including Revit, Amtech, Dialux
Confident communicator with a collaborative, hands–on approach
A passion for sustainability and innovation in building services
Ambition to help build and lead a new regional team
