Our client, operating in the marine sector, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. You will work with a small, agile design team and multidisciplinary engineers to transform concepts into functional marine electrical systems. Collaboration with naval architecture, marine engineering, and automation specialists will be key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems for marine vessels: Power distribution (AC/DC), Lighting, Propulsion, Automation, Communication, Navigation, Safety systems (fire alarm, emergency lighting).
• Perform electrical calculations, simulations, and load analysis.
• Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards (IEC, IEEE, LR, DNV GL), and MCA regulations.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.

Job Requirements:

• Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
