Job summary

Konecranes is recruiting an electrically-qualified Crane Service Engineer to join our team based in the Lancashire area, ideally located in Preston/Blackburn/Blackpool. The role involves maintenance, repair and upgrades of overhead gantry cranes for diverse customers.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, consult with customers on safety issues and document activities via mobile devices.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained (or equivalent) with electrical engineering basics.
• Experience with overhead cranes and hoists in industrial settings.
• Willing to work at height and overtime as required.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes.
• Trouble-shoot equipment breakdowns.
• Consult with customers on repair and safety issues.
• Complete documentation via mobile device.
