Job summary

Konecranes is seeking an electrically qualified Crane Service Engineer to join the team servicing Kent, Essex, or London. The role includes preventative maintenance, repairs, and customer liaison with a company van and extensive travel in a region.

You will work from home-based sites with paid travel time, generous overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package; a positive customer-facing attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained (or equivalent) with electrical engineering disciplines.
• Mechanical knowledge is required.
• Experience with overhead cranes/hoists preferred; essential to maintain, repair and service equipment in an industrial setting.
• Based on 39 hours per week, Mon-Fri; weekend overtime paid at double time.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns.
• Consult with customers on repair and safety issues.
• Complete documentation via mobile device.
