Job summary

British Steel is seeking an Electrical Craft Team Member (Days) for the central cranes team at Scunthorpe. The role focuses on electrical maintenance, fault finding, and ensuring plant availability, quality, and safety in manufacturing and workshop areas.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and have hands-on experience with electrical systems in heavy engineering. Training and career progression are provided within a structured plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical trade, or completed apprenticeship.
• Experience in electrical maintenance and fault finding in heavy engineering or industrial environments.
• Must be able to work at heights and adapt to new equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support the central crane team to maximise plant availability and product quality.
• Record work activities in information systems and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to provide reliable electrical service.
