Our Client, an Engineering company, is seeking an EC&I Designer for a permanent and contract position in Warrington. This role is placed within the Oil & Gas, Construction, or highly regulated industry.
Role
As an EC&I – Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Designer, you will support the Lead and Senior Engineers and be responsible for the production of the EC&I design within single or multi-discipline engineering, EPCM, or EPC projects for the Gas Transmission Major Project Programme.
Responsibilities
As an Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Designer, you will be responsible for the quality of the EC&I design and will work on specific projects related to the Gas Transmission sector, predominantly for the UK compressor station infrastructure. These projects will range from Concept Design (BP135G) to Execution Design (T/PM/G/35), and you shall support the Lead and Senior Engineers in delivering the EC&I design within budget and planning.
You may be asked to participate in internal and external design reviews, supporting the Lead and Senior Engineers. Depending on size and complexity, you may be the responsible EC&I designer for one project or for a portfolio of projects. The EC&I Designer should be able to identify changes to the design scope and report these changes to the Lead and/or Senior Engineer, providing support to the management of the change process.
