Our client, an engineering company, is seeking EC&I Designers for permanent and contract positions in Warrington. These roles are within the Oil & Gas, Construction, or highly regulated industries.
Role
As an EC&I – Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Designer, you will support Lead and Senior Engineers in producing EC&I designs within single or multi-discipline engineering projects, EPCM or EPC, for the Gas Transmission Major Project Programme.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the quality of the EC&I design, working on projects related to the Gas Transmission sector, primarily for UK compressor station infrastructure. These projects will range from Concept Design (BP135G) to Execution Design (T/PM/G/35). You will support Lead and Senior Engineers to deliver designs within budget and schedule.
You may participate in internal and external design reviews and may be responsible for EC&I design for individual projects or a portfolio, depending on project size and complexity. You should identify scope changes and report them to the Lead or Senior Engineer, supporting the management of change process.
