Our client, an engineering company, is seeking a Lead EC&I Engineer (Electrical Controls and Instrumentation) for a permanent position in Warrington. This role is within industries such as Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, or other highly regulated sectors.
Role
You will be the Lead EC&I Engineer for one or more projects, responsible for managing and completing the EC&I engineering and design, including change control and ensuring consistency across disciplines.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the EC&I design within engineering, EPCM, or EPC projects, acting as the technical authority for the discipline. Projects will mainly be in the UK but may extend across Europe, covering the full lifecycle from concept to commissioning, in both greenfield and brownfield applications.
You will lead projects and coordinate EC&I engineering and design with other disciplines such as Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Process, and Automation. You will also review and approve engineering estimates.
