Mott MacDonald, a global engineering and development consultancy, seeks an experienced EICA engineer to lead electrical, instrumentation, control and automation design for nationally significant water sector projects in the UK. You will guide design decisions, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with diverse teams across borders.

Qualifications

• Qualified to HND level or higher in electrical, electronic or control engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in electrical and/or control engineering design.
• Experience coordinating or leading EICA design activities on projects.
• Thorough approach to engineering design.
• Working towards chartership with the IET or an equivalent body.
• Experience of working in the water and/or wastewater industry.
• Experience working for UK or Ireland utilities.
• Experience using electrical design/modelling software and/or intelligent P&IDs.

Responsabilités

• Lead EICA project teams and shape key design decisions.
• Collaborate with local and international colleagues, clients and contractors.
• Mentor junior engineers and support career development.
• Perform electrical and ICA tasks including power distribution and control system design.
• Develop plant layouts, cabling, and installation design; write control strategies.
