Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd in Devon is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee electrical installation and refurbishment projects within the retail sector. This permanent role offers a salary of £55,000–£65,000, plus a full benefits package, and requires travel to Cardiff and Swindon.

You will manage multiple retail projects, typically up to four at a time on a fast‑tracked 12‑week programme, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager within the retail sector.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to deliver projects safely, on programme and within budget.
• Electrical trade background with a solid understanding of installation and project delivery.
• Excellent leadership, communication and client management skills.
• Stable career history with recognised contractors and a track record of successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of retail projects and leading them to successful completion
• Managing up to four projects at a time on a fast‑tracked 12‑week programme
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
• Providing leadership, communication and client management throughout the project lifecycle
