Fawkes & Reece London is seeking an Electrical Construction Manager to deliver the electrical works package on a government project in Suffolk for an initial 8–9 month period. The role requires BPSS clearance and hands-on leadership of electrical subcontractors on site.
The successful candidate will review drawings, manage installation and commissioning, and ensure compliance, quality, and safe practices across the live site.
Our client is a specialist sub-contractor who has been established for over 25 years working across complex commercial and building-services projects, providing services from design through to installation and commissioning. They have experience working with main contractors and direct clients, including technically demanding environments and high-end projects.
They are currently seeking an Electrical Construction Manager to work on a government project based in Suffolk for 8-9 months.
You will be working on a building site based off the main Government project with Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) required.
As Electrical Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the electrical works package, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on programme, to specification and in line with relevant statutory and client requirements.
Given the nature of the building, the role will also require a strong focus on health and safety, security procedures, quality assurance and working within the operational constraints of a live or secure site. You will be expected to maintain accurate project records, contribute to progress meetings and reporting, oversee snagging and completion, and ensure the electrical package is delivered to a high standard through to final handover.
