Job summary

Our client, a leading UK MEP engineering contractor, seeks an Electrical Construction Manager to be site based around the Cambridge/Norwich area and start ASAP. You will lead electrical installation teams across a 63,000 sq ft lab and office building, delivering programme management with a strong focus on safety and quality.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing electrical works on large M&E projects, with a proven track record from pre-construction through commissioning

Client:

Our client is leading UK MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health) engineering contractor delivering high-quality building services for complex construction projects. With expertise across data centres, commercial offices, life sciences, infrastructure and major developments, the company provides end-to-end engineering solutions from design and installation through to testing and commissioning. Renowned for technical excellence, innovation and collaborative delivery, they have been successfully delivering landmark projects for over 90 years.

They are a top subcontractor with an excellent reputation for their client portfolio, service and quality of work.

Role:

They are currently seeking an Electrical Construction Manager to be site based around the Cambridge/Norwich area. Looking to start ASAP.

You will be responsible for managing electrical installation teams across a 63,000 sq ft lab and office building, providing programme management, ensuring the highest standard of health and safety compliance are maintained, quality control of work and progress reporting.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate would have extensive knowledge and experience managing electrical works on large M&E projects ideally in life sciences with a proven track record of delivering electrical packages from pre-construction through commissioning and handover.
