Job summary

RGB Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Site/Project Manager in Plymouth to oversee delivery of electrical packages on projects across South Devon. The role requires on-site leadership of electrical works, ensuring safety, on time delivery, and quality outcomes.

You will manage site supervisors, subcontractors and direct labour, coordinate with main contractors and other trades to maintain programme, and ensure RAMS and site procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Electrical background with sound trade awareness.
• Proven track record in a Site or Project Management role overseeing Electrical works.
• Experience on major projects/public sector schemes and working with Tier 1 contractors.
• Good understanding of programme management and site logistics.
• First aid at work, SMSTS and CSCS.
• SC Clearance essential; British nationals only per site requirements.

A well respected, diverse M&E contractor with a project portfolio covering some of the South West's most prestigious projects is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to oversee delivery of electrical packages on projects across South Devon.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for managing the on-site electrical construction activities on sensitive Defence and/or MOD schemes. You'll need to ensure that works are delivered safely, on programme, with the budget in mind and quality at the forefront. Working closely with the Senior management and commercial team, you will drive programme performance and maintain strong coordination with the main contractor and wider site team.

Key Responsibilities

• Due to the sensitive nature of the projects you could be exposed to, SC Clearance will be essential so the ideal candidate will have had this in place previously or should be in a position where clearance can be sought - to this end, we can only consider British nationals for the role as per site requirements.
