Job summary

A leading M&E subcontractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager for a large project in central London. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing project delivery, managing site teams, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Applicants should hold relevant certifications including SMSTS and 18th Edition, and have experience in the commercial fit-out sector. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and project management skills.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification is required.
• Must possess 18th Edition wiring regulations certification.
• Hold Testing & Inspection 2391 qualification.
• Previous experience in the commercial fit-out sector is essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver projects according to budget and quality.
• Manage site teams throughout project life cycles.
• Check and approve project documentation and drawings.
• Oversee procurement of sub-contractors and materials.
• Manage electronic and paper project documents.
• Keep project tracking documentation up to date and issue reports.
• Prepare Site Audit Reports and capture sub-contractor snags.
• Oversee delivery from inception to practical completion.
• Procurement of Sub-Contractors and Materials.
• Control project costs and variations.

Our client is a leading M&E Sub contractor that had been established in London for many years, they work on various projects in the high end resi, commercial and industrial sector. The company works on projects throughout London. They are now looking to recruit an Electrical Project Manager on a large project in Central London.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and deliver projects according to programme, budget and quality
• Management of site teams
• Know your Scope of Works/Specifications in detail
• Responsible for checking and red pen drawings
• Manage both electronic and paper documents
• Project tracking documentation kept up to date and issued along with the Project Report
• Site Audit Reports for Subbie snags
• Manage overall project delivery from inception to practical completion
• Sub-Contractor management
• Procurement of Sub-Contractors and Materials
• Responsible for projects costs for Variation Accounts
