As part of STFC’s Estates Services, you will support the delivery of flexible, customer-focused, and efficient services aligned with STFC’s vision, values, and objectives. The team must be agile and adaptable to meet diverse needs, and members may lead or participate in projects outside their normal remit.
The primary responsibility is to carry out planned and reactive statutory maintenance to sustain and improve electrical systems supporting STFC’s scientific programs. This includes maintenance across three sites—RAL, Chilbolton Observatory, and The Cosener’s House Hotel—and involves ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety codes, managed via CAFM software. The role also includes installing new or replacement mechanical and electrical systems.
