An established industry player is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their Estates Department. This role involves providing comprehensive maintenance and repair services for a variety of buildings and engineering systems. The ideal candidate will have completed a recognized Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship and possess extensive experience in building engineering services. The Estates Department provides comprehensive maintenance, repair, and installation services for buildings, grounds, engineering services, and associated equipment throughout the Trust.
Qualifications: You must have completed a recognised Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship and possess extensive experience in building engineering services and plant maintenance, supported by a BTEC HNC level, City and Guilds, relevant post-apprenticeship training, or equivalent experience.
Requirements: A current UK driving licence and residence within half an hour's travel to fulfill on-call duties are essential.
Working Hours: The role operates Monday – Friday, with participation in an emergency on-call rota, and offers opportunities for overtime and weekend work.
Salary and Benefits: Salary is Band 5 plus local RRP (£3,277 pa), with an approximate £1,000 pa on-call retainer, overtime, 27 days holiday, and a voluntary pension scheme.
