Job summary

Liberty Gas Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Electrical Compliance Manager to oversee electrical compliance, safety and quality across our renewables projects. You will work with the Electrical Compliance Manager to ensure installations meet MCS, NICEIC and current regulations.

You will review designs, supervise inspections and lead technical audits while guiding site teams and subcontractors. This role offers growth in a fast-evolving renewables division and a strong commitment to

Qualifications

Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (or equivalent).
AM2 qualification.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
Full UK Driving Licence.
Solar PV Installation & Maintenance qualification.
City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing.
SMSTS, IOSH or NEBOSH.
Supervisory or Management qualification.

Responsibilities

Oversee electrical compliance across renewables projects.
Audit electrical installations, testing and certification to ensure compliance with MCS, NICEIC and current regulations.
Work with the Qualified Supervisor to carry out certificate sign-off.
Assist in managing technical audits, inspections and QA processes.
Liaise with DNOs, regulatory bodies, certification providers and external stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance to Site Supervisors, Electricians and subcontractors.
Review electrical designs, installations and commissioning activities.
Monitor inspection, testing and certification requirements.
Develop and deliver toolbox talks and compliance briefings.
Support safe systems of work, RAMS and site safety initiatives.
Monitor KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement.
Assist with resource planning, performance management and reporting.
Maintain compliance procedures and drive consistency across the division.
Identify and mitigate compliance and operational risks.
