Job summary

Cardo Group in the UK seeks an experienced Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to lead electrical compliance delivery across multiple contracts (Crawley, London, Kingston, Canterbury). You will ensure safe, compliant works and provide technical leadership to electricians and supply chains.

You will manage NICEIC/NAPIT requirements, supervise teams, review certifications, and maintain current accreditations, with strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified electrician with NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• Current BS7671: Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition).
• City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) Testing & Inspection qualification.
• Recognised Qualified Supervisor status with NICEIC/NAPIT (or equivalent).
• Proven experience supervising electrical works, preferably within social housing or similar residential environments.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and compliance obligations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the electrical compliance team across multiple contracts.
• Fulfil all NICEIC requirements for Cardo South.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, legally and to high quality standards.
• Review and sign off electrical certification and notify Building Control of Part P.
• Provide technical support, coaching and training to electricians and partners.
• Maintain qualifications, accreditations, CPD and training current.
• Oversee competency checks for electricians and DLO partners.
• Calibrate and maintain test equipment.
• Update risk assessments, method statements, and implement permits.
• Carry out quality control inspections and compliance audits.
• Produce technical and compliance reports for senior management.
• Monitor programme performance, quality, risk and cost.
• Maintain relationships with clients, residents and stakeholders.
• Attend meetings representing Cardo professionally.
• Stay up to date with electrical regulation changes.
• Lead toolbox talks on technical and SHEQ matters.
• Support policy development and best practices.
• Address customer complaints and share lessons learned.
• Proactive approach to health, safety, and compliance.
