Job summary

Cardo Group in the UK is seeking an experienced Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to lead the electrical compliance function across Crawley, London, Kingston and Canterbury. You will support electricians and supply chains, ensuring works are delivered safely and to required standards.

This role requires qualified supervision under NICEIC/NAPIT, strong leadership, and up-to-date BS7671 knowledge. You will be mobile, highly organised, and able to manage priorities across contracts.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified electrician with NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• Current BS7671: Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition).
• City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) Testing & Inspection qualification.
• Recognised Qualified Supervisor status with NICEIC/NAPIT (or equivalent).
• Proven experience supervising electrical works, preferably within social housing or similar residential environments.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and compliance obligations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical compliance team across multiple contracts.
• Fulfil NICEIC requirements as Electrical Qualifying Supervisor for Cardo South.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, legally and to quality standards.
• Review and sign off electrical certification; notify Building Control of Part P notifications.
• Provide technical support, coaching, and training to electricians and partners.
• Maintain current qualifications, accreditations, CPD and training.
• Oversee competency checks for DLO and supply chain electricians.
• Ensure test equipment is calibrated and maintained.
• Update risk assessments, method statements, and electrical permits.
• Carry out quality control inspections and audits.
• Produce technical and compliance reports for senior management.
• Monitor performance, quality, productivity, risk and cost.
• Maintain relationships with clients, contractors, residents and stakeholders.
• Attend meetings representing Cardo professionally.
• Keep up to date with electrical regulations and compliance.
