Electrical CAD Engineer – Defence & Maritime Projects
New Malden (Hybrid Working)

New opportunity for an experienced Electrical CAD Engineer looking to make a real impact in cutting-edge defence and maritime projects.

The Role:

Primarily focused on projects with maritime defence, you will be working within the Hardware Engineering team and playing a significant role through creating and reviewing electrical designs. The Electrical CAD Engineer will be:

1. Using AutoCAD Electrical to produce and review schematics as well as developing component libraries.
2. Working closely and collaboratively with other engineers including providing support to electrical design teams.
3. Supporting creation of BOM.
4. Managing documents and ensuring drawing packages are accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant standards.

Requirements:

1. Proven background in Electrical CAD.
2. Ideally experience within Defence or Aerospace with knowledge of relevant standards (eg. Def Stans).
3. Good communication and problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
4. Eligibility for UK Security Clearance is essential.
