Job summary

Arup is seeking Electrical or Building Services Engineering Summer Students for its Buildings teams in the UK. This 6-week internship offers hands-on support on strategically won projects, helping you develop design skills alongside a multidisciplinary team.

You will gain practical exposure to design processes, software tools, and collaboration with Architects, Building Services and Structural Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers.

Qualifications

• Studying towards an MEng or BEng in Electrical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
• on track to achieve a 2.1 or above (or equivalent), as proven through the modules that you have completed to date.
• demonstrate strong motivation and passion for a career in building design.

Responsibilities

• Support team members to deliver services on projects during the internship.
• Assist in preparing designs in coordination with the team and gain understanding of the design engineer role using relevant software.
• Work as part of project teams alongside Architects, Building Services and Structural Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers.
