Arup in the UK is recruiting Electrical or Building Services Engineering Summer Students to join our Buildings teams across the UK. This six-week internship offers hands-on design experience and exposure to a multidisciplinary project environment.

You will support design work, coordinate with architects and engineers, and gain practical understanding of how we deliver sustainable building solutions for commercial, educational, healthcare and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Studying towards an MEng or BEng in Electrical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
• On track to achieve a 2.1 or above (or equivalent), as proven through modules completed to date.
• Demonstrate strong motivation and passion for a career in building design.

Responsabilités

• Provide support to team members to deliver an effective and professional service to clients on strategically won projects.
• Assist in preparing designs in coordination with the team and gain a thorough understanding of the role of a design engineer using relevant software.
• Work as part of project teams to deliver effective and professional services alongside Architects, Building Services and Structural Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers.
