Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a skilled Electrical Assembly Technician in Basildon, Essex, on-site. You will build and wire complex control boards from technical drawings, ensuring precise cable routing and tidy presentation.

The role requires reading schematics, assembling from parts lists, and testing assemblies to meet quality and safety standards in a stable, busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical assembly and panel wiring.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and schematics.
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Experience with electrical components and control systems.
• Good manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Assemble control boards and enclosures using components.
• Carry out point-to-point wiring, routing and termination of cables.
• Ensure high standards of cable management and presentation.
• Work from technical drawings, wiring diagrams and parts lists.
• Inspect and test assemblies for accuracy and compliance.
• Use a range of hand and power tools safely.
