Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician in Bristol to build systems and sub-assemblies for complex projects. You will ensure BOM and customer specifications are met, identify build issues and report them promptly, and contribute to wiring, soldering, and general assembly work.

You should have a time-served electrical apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications, with experience in electrical fitting/assembly, lead-free soldering, and reading electrical drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience in an electrical fitting/assembly position.
• Lead-free soldering experience.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and fault-find to implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically minded assembly technician to join a well renowned and growing company based on the outskirts of Bristol. You will work on a wide variety of projects, helping assemble complex systems for multiple applications and sectors. You will be an experienced Solderer and Welder and enjoy working on intricate projects.

The Role:

• Building systems and sub-assemblies for complex systems.
• Ensuring that the requirements of the BOM and the customer specification are achieved.
• Identify and resolve build problems.
• Reporting technical issues.
• Wiring and Soldering.
• Support and promote 5S initiatives.
• Cooperate with Continous Improvement principles.

What we are looking for:

• Time served Electrical apprenticeship OR City and Guilds part 3, or HND, HNC, or BTech level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in an electrical fitting/assembly position.
• Lead-free soldering.
• Panel wiring to schematics.
• Ability to read electrical drawings.
• Ability to fault find and implement corrective action.
