Job summary

ARCA in Bristol is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Build Engineer & Electrical Build Assembly Engineer / Fitter to join a fast-growing, high‑tech team. You will construct electrical assemblies, looms and harnesses, conduct testing and support field installations and maintenance.

The role demands hands-on experience in a productive assembly environment, soldering skills, detail‑oriented workmanship, and the ability to travel. A UK driving licence and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Electrical NVQ 3 or equivalent in the electrical industry.
• Experience as Electrical Technician / Fitter.
• Strong build experience of electrical machines.
• Soldering experience.
• Good eye for detail and pride in high quality workmanship.
• Experience in a highly productive assembly environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Construct electrical assemblies, looms, and harnesses.

• Offer electrical support both on-site and off-site as needed.
• Fault finding.
• Build individual components as well as handle larger production batches.
• Keep detailed records of assembly and testing progress.

ARCA is partnered with a rapidly scaling, high tech business seeking to expand its electrical engineering team by hiring an experienced and enthusiastic EXPERIENCED SENIOR ELECTRICAL BUILD ENGINEER & A ELECTRICAL BUILD ASSEMBLY ENGINEER / FITTER.

The successful candidates will have experience working in a highly productive assembly environment and have a good experience as an Electrical Build Engineer.
