Job summary

Nutanix in the United Kingdom is seeking an assembly operator to work on electrical switch gear. The role involves assembling, inspecting, packing, testing and auditing to manufacturing standards, and ensuring outputs meet quality and productivity targets.

You will align with Skill Band criteria, maintain safe working practices, participate in training as directed, and keep the work area orderly and compliant with 5S+ standards while communicating any issues to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate ability to assemble, inspect, pack, test and audit electrical switch gear to manufacturing requirements.
• Strong focus on achieving quality and productivity targets.
• Awareness of orders and delivery dates to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, Inspect, Pack, Test and Audit electrical switch gear to manufacturing requirements.
• Align to the specific Skill Band criteria for role.
• Undertake product auditing throughout general assembly.
• Demonstrate initiative and flexibility to ensure smooth and efficient running of department.
• Observe and adopt safe working practices in accordance with company health and safety policy and applicable legislation (HASAWA 1974).
• Achieve MTM & SPC targets where applicable.
• Undertake training necessary for development as agreed with Supervisors/Team Leader.
• Communicate problems affecting role to Supervisors/Team Leader.
• Keep workarea clean and tidy at all times adhering to 5S+ standards.
