Proactive Personnel Ltd. is seeking an experienced electrical assembler / wireman for a role based in Birmingham. The position involves building electrical components and subassemblies according to engineering drawings, wiring and testing to ensure product quality.

Candidates should be comfortable using hand and power tools, interpreting schematics, and following strict safety procedures. This is a full-time, on-site role with standard 37.5-hour weeks and opportunities to contribute to assembly

Formación

• Experience in electrical assembly or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in electrical assembly.
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits and components.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble electrical components and subassemblies according to drawings and specs.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced electrical assembler / wireman on behalf of our client based in Birmingham

Working hours 37.5 per week

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical components and subassemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Use hand tools and power tools to perform assembly tasks
• Install and connect wiring, cables, and electrical components
• Test assembled products to ensure functionality and quality
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical assemblies as needed
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Experience

• Previous experience in electrical assembly or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of logic controllers, surface mount technology, and mechanical assembly techniques is a plus
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in electrical assembly
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits and components
