Job summary

The JTL Group is seeking an Electrical Training Officer to support apprentices and learners, developing knowledge and skills to meet industry standards. You will manage a regional caseload with regular workplace visits and assessments, coaching learners to stay on track and progress through end-point assessments.

Ideal candidates are experienced electricians who can inspire others, with strong communication, organisational and IT skills, plus a commitment to safeguarding and professional

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation or equivalent.
• ECS Card or equivalent.
• Experience as a qualified electrician with strong technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of apprentices and learners, supporting progress and completion.
• Conduct regular workplace visits and progress reviews with learners and employers.
• Assess knowledge, skills and behaviours; provide constructive feedback.
• Guide learners on gateway, end-point assessment and AM2 requirements.
• Monitor attendance and progress, intervening when needed.
• Promote safeguarding, equality and health and safety in training delivery.
