Job summary

Herts Resourcing Group is recruiting an Apprenticeship Assessor/Trainer (Electrical) on behalf of HRC, a leading FE college. The role is based at Broxbourne Campus with travel to surrounding Hertfordshire and North London areas.

The successful candidate will manage a caseload of electrical apprentices, deliver practical workplace assessments and support learners through End Point Assessment, with responsibilities to liaise with employers and ensure progress is tracked in Smart Assessor.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ Level 3 (or willing to work towards).
• GCSE English & Maths (or Level 2 equivalent).
• Occupational experience within Electrical or relevant specialism.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of apprentices, providing high-quality training, assessment and support.
• Act as a main contact for employers, supporting attendance, progress and performance.
• Deliver practical workplace assessments.
• Support apprentices with Maths & English (Functional Skills) where required.
• Record learner progress accurately on the e-portfolio system (Smart Assessor).
• Prepare apprentices for End Point Assessment.
