Job description

Affinity Water is the UK's largest clean water-only company, and our site in Egham boasts a diverse and talented team.

We have an excellent new opportunity for an Electrical and Mechanical Technician.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for completing electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation maintenance and repairs to plant and equipment.

Each day, you'll follow a maintenance routine to ensure our sites, storage facilities, and pumping stations operate reliably and efficiently.

Your work will be varied, managing planned and reactive tasks, with training and tools provided to support your success.

You will also play a key role in local infrastructure projects and site improvements, working closely with stakeholders and sharing your opinions.

Traveling between sites is facilitated by a company van, and a full UK driving license is required.

Experience Required
  • Full electrical apprenticeship, HNC qualification, or equivalent (e.g., City & Guilds Level 3). Overseas qualifications require UK equivalence proof.
  • Experience with industrial electrical equipment in process-driven environments.
  • Full UK driving license.

  • Salary package up to £51,661 after training
  • Basic salary: £38,855 + Flex Allowance: £4,537 + Stand-by payment: £8,629
  • Standby 1:4, £8,269 per annum (post-training)
  • Core hours: 08:00-16:00 (Mon-Thu), 08:00-15:30 (Fri)
  • Remote/onsite work, company van, uniform, fuel card
