Job summary

PRS in Gateshead is looking for a Production Test Technician to support EOL test activities and maintain production lines. The role involves testing motors and other components, developing manufacturing test equipment, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

Ideal candidates should have a recognized qualification in key subjects, be computer literate, and possess strong problem-solving skills. Experience in manufacturing environments is a bonus, but training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow engineering drawings and schematics.
• Capable of creating work instructions for test and maintenance activities.
• Understanding of HSE legislation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day EOL test activities of the production lines.
• Conduct system and component level testing of motors and inverters.
• Develop manufacturing test equipment for high-performance products.
